How do I set up Gmail on my mobile phone?

I have an LG Shine KE970. I've entered all the settings; incoming %26amp; outgoing mail server, username, email, password, ports etc. But it won't retrieve my emails. It says 'time out' sometimes or 'failed to connect'.


I've also tried to download and install the Gmail app but when I visit the download site through my phone browser it won't work. I press 'download' but nothing happens.

You use the Google-provided email up-loader program, designed for Thunderbird and Outlook users, which automatically uploads a user鈥檚 local email file to the user鈥檚 account so they can receive the messages.

Reply:Why dont you use the card reader and try to Download it first on ur Pc and then copy it to your Mobile through a Usb try it....
